Sunniside Cornerstone Church needed a new external sign that reflected the importance of the building while communicating service times and contact details.
The Church had recently been opened, so there was no existing signage, only 2 posts ready to take a sign.
The goal was to create a church sign that felt permanent, welcoming, and easy to read from a distance, while respecting the traditional character of the church.
While the design was led by input from the church committee, we worked with them to achieve a legible church sign that was easy to read.
The design was classic in many aspects. A deep red panel paired with gold creates a strong, timeless feel. The typography we chose to use a slightly more modern serifed font, but focused on readability of the headings and contact details.
The standout embellishment for this sign was a 3D polished gold stainless steel cross that stands proud at the top of the sign.
