Church notice boards play an important role in parish life. Providing a clear and welcoming place for announcements, events and community information.
For St Agnes Catholic Church, the aim was to create a traditional notice board that felt at home within the church grounds.
The Design was influenced by a previous sign we produced for The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, creating a visual relationship between the two, while giving St Agnes it’s own identity.
Creating a Church notice board with a strong visual pictorial needs to be sypathetic and not over powering. Working with limited colours the contrast between blue and white became a strong base. The next step was producing an image that represented St Agnes holding a lamb, while not looking like “clip art” or a cartoon.
The notice board uses a traditional arched design that complements teh character of the church.
