Restaurant signs in Alnmouth

Alnmouth in Northumberland, although it isn’t on our doorstep is well within our area.
Hooked wanted to create a presence without being too gaudy. The restaurant located 25 Northumberland Street is on the main run into Alnmouth. The street is lined with sandstone and traditional buildings.

The customer wanted their restaurant signs to have the main sign, projecting sign and some frosted vinyl. The frosted vinyl is on the back window, so, unfortunately, we haven’t a photo of that part.

Both the signs were to be a specific colour that the customer had chosen. Which made us lean towards painted aluminium. With a custom colour matching service, we can achieve most colour finishes, whereas in plastics we are limited.

The main restaurant sign is a folded aluminium tray sign while the projecting sign is a simple folded aluminium “flange” sign.

Hooked’s Projecting Sign

The simplicity of this basic projecting sign can be seen below. A Solid cut sheet of aluminium with a single fold in it. This was then painted to match the customer’s design. Then finished off with vinyl graphics. This type of projecting sign is relatively cheap as there is a minimal fabrication to do.

It’s not often we can show you happy customers, but as we were packing our access equipment away we managed to jump in on a photoshoot Hooked were taking to show the development of their restaurant.
