Sherlocks Durham – Acrylic Letters

Sherlocks Hair in Durham needed their Fascia with updating with Acrylic letters.
The hair salon has four bases in the North East. Located in Newcastle, Sunderland, Metro Centre and Durham.

We were asked to remake the lettering for the sign as it had been damaged or vandalised. As we hadn’t done the original sign,  to us and the customer it was important to keep the styling exactly the same. So we set up artwork and confirm every step of the process with them.

Acrylic letters on a tray sign

The backing panel is a powder-coated tray sign, which was in good condition still, so only needed cleaning up. The new lettering was a 5mm thick gloss black acrylic logo on stand-off locators.

The sign is clean and simple. As Sherlocks is now well established there wasn’t the need to add the word hairdressing on the sign.
