Aluminium
Aluminium is one of the more versatile materials we use in sign making.
It is used in road signs, notice boxes, most fabricated signs and built up lettering and even suitable for simple small flat signs.
We use two main types of aluminium product, solid sheet aluminium and Aluminium composite sheet. Aluminium composite sheet is commonly called Dibond, but just like Hoover in reference to a vacuum cleaner, is a brand. The composite material is two thin layers of aluminium with a resin layer between the two. This removes weight and raw material cost.
